DO NOT DO THIS. Please!

Get it checked for why the light is coming on. It can be any of several things. Cranking on the adjusting bolt may cure the actual problem, or may mask the symptom of a different problem.

Bob said the material across the tops of the door sill need to be tucked back in and secured and then there are two cuts in the drivers side bolster and the missing tool tray, but other than those pretty minor things it does look AMAZING! With Bob's clean up work we will really start to polish this diamond in the rough. Get a bit of interior and paint work done on it when it gets here and get it running like a EURO S ought to run and I think I will have one VERY SPECIAL car! No rear bumperettes is what really SOLD me on it! LOVE THAT CLEAN LOOK! Will probably do the same plate thing that I did to the '92... This one's name is EURO85!

If you can't wait then maybe someone here can run the VIN and get the codes for you.

Finally got around to finding the option codes on my car. Would limited slip be listed among the option codes, or is it somehow standard, or bundled with something else?

Nice car!!

Rixter is the man on these cars, send him your vin and he'll find every option code your 928 has, some were not listed on that sticker (so LSD is still possible).

Also, have the TB checked immediately or you court disaster. If it breaks, the 32v is interference engine which means the pistons will hit the valves and damage most of them resulting in a big repair bill.

TB was addressed. It was probably is touch on the loose side, but I set it to the higher end of the Kempf tool, and no light after that. Will look into Rixter since I really would like to know what sort of animal I am dealing with deep down.

Thanks,
Dave

While the option codes are spelled out on the decal in the above post, putting your VIN + PET 7.1 says:

I158
I302
M139 heated seat
M340 heated seat
M418 side moulding
M481 manual tranny
M490 Sound package
M494 additional amplifier
M533 anti-theft device
M570 rear A/C
M650 sunroof

The I-codes are new to me, dunno what they mean. Individual? M-158 is a Blaupunkt Reno SQR46, and M302 is the tramp stamp decal on the rear bumper. Hopefully Erkka/Rixter/Chuck Z/ someone else will see this and correct me.
