I have had the CDR220 stereo for a while now and really like how it looks and its simple ease of use. But, I have been bugged by the viewing angle which means the driver can't read the display- a hangover from when the factory set up the viewing angle for the original boxster and 993 (I think) installation. Everyone seemed to say it was not possible to adjust it, though there was a crowd who could reverse the polarisation which supposely improved it but they never answered my email.
While reading Rennlist I came across a post by Jim (jcorenman) where he said he had figured it out and he offered to do the upgrade, for a tiny cost. I took him up on it and here is the result. This photo is from the drivers seat and the viewing angle is absolutely perfect. So, thanks to Jim and thanks to Rennlist for making it easier for us all to find the help we need.

Your picture brought back fond memories of driving in NZ during our travels, with (almost) everything on the wrong side. We could always spot another yank at an intersection because their wipers would be going (along with ours) instead of the turn signal!
