I think it was the fuel. It detonated a bit at the beginning of the run. After filling it with 94 octane it disappeared after about 1/2 hour of driving. I think it is right on the edge with the timing.

Come by anytime. The GT will love the boost lots of them have been done. Make sure everything else is up to snuff by taking care of all deferred maintenance. I would go with Tim Murphy's setup if you want to do it. It is pretty much a turn key kit. Stage one would give you well over 400 rwhp. As far as handling goes, again make sure everything is up to standard and look at mods after.

So anyways, If and when I do the SC thingy, How do you think MY car(90 GT w/5 speed) will react? What kind of Hp increase would I be looking at? Handling?

Maybe on a nice day I'll take a drive out to Kitchener for a viewing?????

They way I see it is: If you know how to turn a wrench...go for it, if not..... don't.

making sure that everything is up to snuf is a timly process. been reading and looking at things that might be a problem. but so far so good. It would be great if someone with more knowledge could look at my ccar just in case I'm missing something or dont know how something looks good or needs work.

When the weather gets better, bring her over and Ted and I can have a good look at it.
