Houston GTG - 3rd Saturday (4/17 in Cypress)
Feb 20, mark your calendar. Let's try Cypress this time. I've got a nice spot picked out on Hempstead Hwy next to the only historic buildings left from the original Cypress, with some good food near by for lunch. More details to follow...
UPDATE:
I was hoping we could line the cars up in front of the old historic gas station at Cypress Top park on Hempstead Hwy, but I just found out there will be early voting for the TX primaries that day, so parking could be tight. Let's meet in the parking lot behind Cypress Station Grill at 11.

Glad you can make it Bill. Was thinking we could meet around 11, BS for a while then have lunch at Cypress Grill. Ken, hope that's not too late for you.

Probably can't make that - my son is leading our entry in the Go Texan parade in Conroe (playing the bagpipes!) and I think that I'll be cutting it close trying to get across town. Have fun - I'll try and make the next one.

Don - 11 sounds great. Just let me know where. It'll give me a kick in the pants to change out that odometer gear next week-end, cause I'd like to take the shark. Too - you guys can offer some opinions about my dead (sometimes) speedo - that is if my poking around the back of the pod doesn't offer any solutions.

Bill, re your speedo: search function should yield some previous experiences about the soldering the rivets or some such that has worked for others. No 1st hand experience there but just word of mouth.

Glad you can make it. CSG is across the street from Lowe's (to the side), and across Hempstead from the RR tracks (it faces Hempstead).
