A$$hats...

Right now that is my plan, I want to wait until I have the replacement installed and working.
I have asked to get my old unit back, we shall see if I do get it back or not.

I guess I have a different view on customer service, I just replaced a fuel pump on a Rolls that was a year old, but very few miles, he did not have a warranty or even a invoice.
The factory warranty was six months.

Considering what they charge for parts, that is robbery!

I know some of those rolls have parallel pumps. Was this the same on this car?

And I would not request the unit back. I would be simply responding with the letter from your lawyer.

This car had a single pump, it was just one we had worked on.
I want the unit back so I have evidence, not that I may do anything with it other than post pictures on every radar detector forum I can find.

I talked to Radar Roy last night VIA PM and he was shocked that one, they did not offer a extended warranty on a CI and that they would treat some one like this.

He is a fair man and has no problems with me stating facts on his web forum as far as I know.
It looks as it may have all ready cost them one sale, even though that is not my intention to cost them sales, but rather to keep folks from thinking they have a warranty when they in fact do not.
Just buy one off fleabay for half price.

Just a update, I got a new interface and the old one back, it seems to work with the new interface installed.

I took the old one apart and it does appear to have had a small amount of water in it at some point, maybe it was when it was in the Corvette.
