Congrats! Would make a hell of a movie trailer. "Miles and time kept them apart, but destiny brought them together. Some called it love, others called it mecophiles. Coming this summer, from Paramount pictures, the story of a man from New York and a Porsche Nine Twenty Eight.”

Wally, how many quarts for 91 S4 Auto?
EDIT: Sorry-I'll look up now. Only had iPhone with me and wasn't sure if I was heading to WalMart tonight. 6 year old vetoed it after a minor league ball game and go-karting. Now I have time to check and make my shopping list!

Michael,
Congrats on the purchase. I can't believe you've been watching this car for nearly 2-1/2 years before buying it. That is some patience you have my friend.
Is the NYC get-together still happening and if so when? Maybe I should be resurrecting that thread. Anyway, would love to see it and meet you and other NYC 928ers.

Michael,

They also did not offer it for sale until December of this year when I was just 2 months into a new job and still being recruited to relocate...thankfully the market was soft for this car and I knew it's history. Also having gone through one less than exemplary ownership experience I learned the hard way about its value. (Note to anyone reading this thread-if you don't know the history and don't get a PPI then be prepared to spend more than what you spend on the car in service).
I do think the values are now on their way up for good cars as they are fewer and further between.
