Use a second person to hold one of the cams (driver side) on the timing mark, and with one hand you hold the other (passanger side), then with you free hand slide the timing belt back onto the cams. I've done this without help(using bunge cords and adjustabel wrenches) several times.

Use a 30mm wrench on the big washer to turn the cams to position.
I do all my timing belt jobs at TDC. So dont worry.
I also never have a hand to hold the timing belt. So it is possible.

Thanks, should I put the old wateer pump and tensioner back on roll it a few times to check then set at 45 and start over or just continue with the new install as is. Thanks again, Jack

w2ith a 32 V engine it would be better to get the engine to 45deg BTDC and then mark the cams then remove the belt. this will reduce the possibility of the cam springing a valve into one of the piston tops and possibly bending it

I'm not sure there is any sense in doing that.
Put on the new pump, string the new belt.
Be careful doing it.
When you string the drivers side gear, put a clothes pin on the belt at the top of the gear just as a slight aid to keeping it in place as you move to string the more difficult passenger side. Very tight. Gotta smooth it and work it into place. Don't want move the gear at all, either.
I've done it like this once. Worked out. More risky though.

drain the block before you remove the water pump or 2 gallons will drench the front of the engine put a big bolt into the oil pan dipstick tube to cover it so dirt wont get in the 10mm bolt will drop in and the head will cover the hole
