Brian, I hope it is nothing serious. We're looking forward to seeing you and the white car at Sebring, along with the rest of the gang. Good luck with the fix.

I got the pump freed up and reinstalled it tonite just to make sure nothing else was wrong, runs fine.
I am going to pick up a new pump in sarasota tomorrow afternoon and I should be good to go.
Are you still going to go even if 928less?

"I will be there! Not sure if the wife and kids will come but it would be fun. Would a 5 and 3 yr old have fun there?
Could be a great day trip!

Stephen"

Not too young to get them thinking about one of their own

Just got home from working out of town all week. Will get up before dawn to hit the road to head down. Weather forecast is for partly to mostly sunny, high on Sat. of 67. Sounds like fantastic Shark weather!

Can you pass some of that good karma my way, Mel?
New pump is installed but the fuel line won't stop dripping, found a bubble in the sidewall of one tire and Jacob has a high fever.
I'll work on the leak tonite, mount a new tire in the morning and hope the boys fever breaks.

Brian, knowing your skill level I'm sure you already know this but.... The crush washers used on a 928 and especially on the fuel system, are really a pain in the @$$ to get to seal after the first use. They require near herculean strength to tighten them enough to stop leaking and sense enough to know when to say uncle before you break something. If you haven't done so already, try a new crush washer. You can get them at your local auto parts store.

I worked outside in the rain all day yesterday and into the night getting my car put back together ( mostly ) . I'm up early so that I can be first in line at the alignment shop this morning. I hope to see you folks in Sebring soon. Please don't look at the car too closely, it looks m,uch better from across the parking lot.

Hi everyone :bigwave:

I just wanted to say that Rhissa and I really enjoyed seeing so many of you that we haven't seen in awhile. Thank you again for all of the well wishes regarding our nuptials.

If I was short with anyone or didn't say a proper goodbyee to anyone at the end of the day yesterday, I would like to appologize. It sure wasn't my intention. I was really stressing and embarrassed about the car problems I was having. I really didn't want the 911 guys to see us push starting a 928. Speaking of which. I have done some testing today and the problem isn't the starter. The problem appears to be in the dash somewhere. I'm pulling it apart now to try to find it. Wish me luck.

Well best laid plans? Just as I was all pumped up to go, Amanda informs me that my daughters bestfriends decided to have there Bday party on sat. So I got to spend from 1oclock to 5 oclock with twenty 3 to 5 yr olds. Needless to say I was exhausted by 5 oclock

I was kinda pissed but the kids come first. Hopefully there will be something else coming up soon. My car should be painted by then. She doesn't look to good right now!

A quick note to say it was great to see everyone, again, and also to meet some new folks.

Back in Tampa to help watch over some teenagers having a Super Bowl party.

Shawn, I admire the work you are doing to your car! It was good to finally see it in person!

Looking forward to the next Florida event!
