What are these seats?

Many of the top end car makers used this line of Recaro as an option.
Recaro still makes a similar model.
Thanks

Paul,
As I understand it, the "regular" seat memory and mirror memory are tied together between boxes under the seat and in the drivers footwell. Do these Recaros "play well" with the memory features of the mirrors? Is memory still controlled by the standard buttons on the armrest? Does the passenger side have memory too?
Just curious...

It shocked me that Ben got rid of them, I've seen them in person and they are really cool.

If there was an "easy" way to bolt those into my Audi I would be all over it.

I am no electronics expert, others here will be suited to answer this, but I would think that if you already have memory on your car, you would have to choose between the 2 systems.
The Recaro seat memory as more choices, because the lumbar system is segmented and I believe the heat is also. But it does not control the mirrors.
And yes, both seats have memory, but one does not work because one of the plastic control links (same as our S4 system) is broken. But all other functions do work.

Paul,
Thanks! Mainly I was just curious as to how integrated the seats were with the "stock" 928 controls. I had assumed little or no integration with the "stock" memory/controls, but the comment "Was available on the 928, from the factory, as a very expensive option" indicated that there might be tighter integration than I expected.
