Default Rear A/C **** retainer replacement

The rear A/C ***** have little spring-steel retainers that press against the shafts to hold the ***** on. I lost one when my **** broke; the **** was reparable but, lacking the retainer, I ordered a replacement ****. When it arrived, it didn't have the retainer either.

Any suggestion for a replacement for this little metal piece?

There's also a replacement spring clip to order from Porsche, #928 613 219 00. Costs 2-3 cents iirc.

Well, that would explain why I didn't get the spring clip when I ordered the ****—I didn't pay for it.

This is why Porsche cars cost so much, it's to pay the salaries of all the people tracking spare parts inventories.....

Thats whats happened to me, however they were a bit embarrassed bout it and it's so cheap they didn't charge me anything for it.

I ordered new ***** as my old ones had the logos worn off. Had to take the clips out of the old *****.

Tom,
I think Roger has sourced a VW part # to save you money. It's $5 instead of $6!!
