OB is 78/79. Some people like to lump all pre-87 together as "Old Body" but IMHO that just confuses the issue, as we've seen with these cargo covers where the OBs were very different than the S, S2, S3(other pre-87) 928s. You might as well call all of the S4, GT, CS, and GTS variants "S4s" since there as many variations on either side of the 86/87 body style change.

This has been batted back and forth here over the years and I generally don't say much unless misuse of the term causes real confusion.

Mark...LOL! Here I am late to the party, but DAMN IT BOYS!!! If it has S spoilers it is a freaking S car. In case you missed it those started in 1980 for the Euro market and 1983 for the US market! JEEZUS, how many times do I have to go over this with you people?!

Seriously though, in this case the S and OB argument does not hold up as only the REAL OB's (ie. those originally designated as OB by virtue of their CIS injection systems from '78/'79, this did not include the EURO S CIS cars I don't think) had the snap style original luggage cover, all 928 from '80 forward had the style in the pic several posts above this post. So the '80-'82 OB cars (as well as the S cars from that same time period) all have this "standard" luggage cover if you will. Only 78/79 cars get the snappy style and still not sure anyone is making those...

I would like to repeat myself again.
I have them in stock in black and brown for $200.
These only fit the early 78 & 79 cars.

Roger, I don't know how I missed that! Are those factory or did someone make a run of aftermarket covers? Either way $200 is a smokin' deal on a 928 luggage cover!

Holy cow. How did I miss this post!? Roger, can you please post pictures of them. I couldn't find them on your web site. I have been searching all over. It's the same suede'ish fabric as original?

Woo Hoo. Just bought mine from Roger. I've wanted that luggage cover for too long. Can't wait to get it. Will post high res pictures when it's here.

Got my OB luggage cover from Roger. Looks great. Fits great. Very happy. If you own an OB you need one of these. Thanks Roger!
