Default MSDS header install

well i finally installed the headers on my car. The stock manifolds were easy to unbolt but i had to raise the motor a little to get the driver side manifold out. as far as installing the headers, cake. passenger side went in with no problems, driver side i had to jack it up a little to get it in. some of the bolts are hard to get to but nothing that my cramped up hands could not do.

Good job .... my hands are HUGE and if I can do it anyone can Marty at MSDS has been making these for years now has quite a good fixture to make sure that they fit. I like the sound with a nice merge Y pipe and the side by side Borla ! Enjoy your set up.

I've had the MSDS headers on my car for around 15 years. Jet Hot recoated them and they look brand new.

o it sounds great! like my old big block dart with open pipes. wife yelled at me to "fix that god awful noise". i got my universal cat here, and the local exhaust guy is going to build the y pipe and everything. i did order some V-band flanges so i can take apart the exhaust as needed, but ofcourse they send only one, and forgot the other, and sent the wrong flanges. weee! but thats ok. im in the process of doing my CV axles right now.

I have the universal cat and y pipe that i made for smog. Its not a nice Y, but it is effective. the cat was only used for the day I got it smogged. It fits the devek MSDS headers and then bolts to the existing stock exhuast system after the stock cat. I actually consumed the stock cat rear flange to make it.
