So we have to conclude that the thought of having an internal engine problem is enough to make even Mark Kibort listen?

Tis scary stuff when you do not see it every day, all you can see is $$$.

But the real scary stuff is when you have tried EVERY thing you know to do and it still does not fix the problem, when 2+2 = 7, that is when the fun starts.

Well when it gets fixed is fun anyway.

Perhaps but he is already rationalizing his way out of using a proper air/oil cooler which IF he had one to begin with no such HIDDEN oil leak into the coolant ! .....And yes the trans coolers also fail and water / coolant in a automatic box quickly kills the internal clutch materials....

one thing I AM sure of, is that I've not been sure of myself plenty of times and the list has come to my aid. However, I will never waver on basic mathamatics and wrongful generalizations that can easily be proven wrong by 6th grade math/physics.

I listen when ever common sense or knowledge is presented.
Put it this way, most everything I have learned about and how to fix, the 928, has been found here. I also appreciate all your input here as well, Greg. You dont have to provide the truely, professional help, yet you do. Many thanks.

mk

It's too bad others

especially , when you trust a so called, professional ("Radiator Dr" in San Jose) to help you add up the variables. If I would have believed the radiator guy, not thought for myself, not used the input here from the list, and just pulled the engine, I would have had a REAL mess on my hand.

MK may occasionally be a bit pedantic, and appear inflexible, but he is always sincere.

Treating sincerity with harshness, always seems small.

I voted for that as well. (and hoped!) Glad its going to be elected! BUT, im only 95% sure right now. Im still a little worried about the oil in the water, but i guess it makes perfect sense that under pressure and near the same molecular sizes, that oil would have traversed that same hole or leak into the water. Glad that beautiful engine wont have to be yanked and taken apart.

now i can focus on stripping and the cage/paint process.

Talk to John about the cage....I'm sure he'll give you a deal on a mirror of the Lemons racer cage....since Clint's getting pretty good at making 928 cages!! Take out the rear cross member and remove the passenger nascar bar to a simple X and your done... it would be slightly lighter than the lemons cage too

I agree 100% that Mark is a great guy and am proud to call him my friend. I would not tease him, if this was not the case.

I'm just waiting to see how he is going to get all that water out of his Amsoil, so he can reuse it.
