Default great video of 24 hours of lemons..928 Estate

http://www.vimeo.com/8093170

This is a great professional video of the "24hours of lemons" from the Evil Genius Racing "team" perspective.....we had the 928 "Estate" and V8olvo in our "team" for the race.....the best part is ALL of the moving video during the whole video is from the 928 estate..typically with our own Mark Anderson driving.....

Its a great summary of the "feel" of a lemons race....

We still need to fix the rod bearing issue, but I look forward to lemons racing again at Infineon in March!!!!

Works great. I must have shown LeMons ArseFreeze videos to 100 people. Nice work.

Any ideas on theme for the next race?

Miata = Barris Batmobile

Estate 928 + a little change to roofline = Honkees?

The next race is coming up FAST...1st week of March really isn't that far away!!

There are a couple ideas I am considering...but my # 1 priority is getting the engine issue resolved so the car will be reliable enough to finish at least a couple races + practices....

One idea I like is a "madmax" theme...where we install the Eaton M90 supercharger on a magnetic style AC clutch with an in cockpit switch ala madmax.....as cool as that would be I don't think it would last the race, especially under boost

Another idea I like is a hearst....it would easy to paint the whole think black and install the sliding hearst windowshades plus a coffin of some type in the back....spraypaint some whitewalls and your done...

The Mad Max blower was a dummy.....Movie magic so just Fake it ! My son in law had an exact replica of the movie car very 1970s Torino looking just right hand drive and shrunken a bit...

Did they ever post the final results? I went to mylaps.com and didnt find it there.

It makes me laugh, any time I read or see something about that weekend. What a great experience!

Thanks Brian!

Really.....we did start right behind each other so that makes sense if the green dropped at a good time for both cars...the Maxima had to be right up there too during that same stint....

results are here

http://www.mylaps.com/results/showrun.jsp?id=1376981

no other car that died around the same time as we did completed more laps than we did....I think we might have been able to reach top 10 if we finished.....
