Paul - under the conditions you describe, I'd stop right now and ship it in an enclosed container the rest of the way. I wouldn't chance road rash on that one off beauty!

Kevin, great job on the paint.

Seeing that makes my really think I need aero mirrors on the '91.

Awesome work Kevin. That is a really unique color. I can't wait to see more pics in better lighting. Look at the pics of Paul and his wife. Look how big their smiles are in that pic. <--- thats them.

I am putting the new interior in this week and I will post pics. All the customers are drooling over these pieces of art. Only problem is these things are sooooo nice I don't even want to sit in them. Paul is using some kind of new foam in his seats and the feel of them is amazing. I was admiring these today over coffee and I mean you can't find a pucker nor a stitch out of place . I can't imagine the amount of time this took to achieve, well worth the wait for sure!

I am back guys. Yesterday was nice and sunny, but a very ecktic drive with all the loose gravel on the road.

We ended up better than I expected, with only minor damage. I do have some rock chips, even got a crack on my brand new fog lamp
But the silver lining is that the paint as not yet been color sanded and buffed. It's still too young and soft.
So Kevin is sending me the appropriate paint and clear, and I will slowly build up the offending chips over the next weeks. Then wet sand and buff.
Actually looking forward to it

Hey Sterling, it's the same color that was on my car before. Only now, with the additional high sparkle, it changes hue depending on the sun and angle of sight.
It's in the same color family as yours, but much darker.
It was the catalog color for 1988 and is quite rare. I know of only one other.

Thank you for all your great comments everyone.

Paul
