300 tq at 2700 rpm really makes it feel like it has 50 more hp.
You shouldn't have any problem getting 300 with that fancy intake of yours. Not quite as stylish as the 4" drain pipes on my car, though.

BTW: this dyno has never been very optimistic. Before this with other cars, I've always gotten much less than I hoped for. It was great to drive on, dyno almost 300/300, and drive off, in less than an hour!

The Ford disc type flow a little more than the stock pintle type overall at lower duty cycles because they open and close faster. At full open (static) they flow the same.
Fuel injector guy said it would happen, and I saw it on the machine. He said that this was because of the lighter weight components in the disc type.

Even with the pumkin mod, it is definately a restriction.

On the '85-'86.0, it necks down to 52mm=2-1/16" OD (from 55mm=2-3/16") right after the cat/X-pipe, whereas the '86.5 is 55mm all the way back. Not to mention all that squashing at the rear crossmember.

Porken's chip
Modified Exhaust of some sort
Cooler spark plugs
Air/Fuel meter
And optional:
Aftermarket cat system to eliminate the air pump
drop the accessory belt and replace with _____ size belt
Electric Cooling Fans
Am I missing anything?

That's great. Especially since you haven't done anything but bolt-ons. What a great combo: x-pipe, chips and higher FPR.
I'm hoping to get over 300 at the wheels out of my '85 this year somehow. Ooh! The tax return should be here soon...
Isn't a flow test just turning an injector on and letting it flow into a beaker (or glass?) for a specified amount of time? If you could figure out a way to turn the power on and off for exactly the same amount of time I think you could flow test your own, no?
Ken, I noticed that Blue Oval Industries (where I got my Ford 24.lb 4 holes) also sells a set of 8 flow matched injectors now for just a little more.

Wow, Ken, thats really nice- is this the same chipset you sent me last? My car is out of commission getting some bod mods done- I haven't been able to drive it on a dry road yet...

I just finished up installing Ken's latest chips, 55psi Fuel pressure regulator, new TPS switch, and o-rings on throttle body. Results, its an F-ing beast!!! I've never lost grip the way I do now, it revs so much faster and make the tires chirp in 2nd gear! It's just an awesome combo, should I dare say almost too much!
