for the record an early 944 washer pump i have seen 40psi with a stock size line attached with a small nozzle and a pressure gauge tee'd. i imagine the late 944 pump (same as 928) would be similar.

Are you running a turbo or a supercharger?

Water/Methanol as an anti-detonation safety measure for my nitrous setup.I only require about 255cc/minute for my application which equates to about 4 gallons/hour.Companies like Snow use ShurFlo which pump 1.5-3 gallons per MINUTE which is overkill for my purposes. With the nozzle im using 40PSI will give me approx. 250cc/minute which is just about right.

This goes back to Hackers origonal post though.

And you cannot state that at 40PSI you will have 250CC/min. The volume you get is not specific of the PSI. It is determined by the displacement of the pump itself. The PSI obtainable is determined by the restriction after the pump, and the power of the motor to spin the pump.

With the nozzle im using the flow measured 250ml into my Lab Flask in 1 minute. So yes i can make that statement.D:

Under pressure it will be slightly less than that. This is because as it loads the motor will slow down slightly thus decreasing the volume moved.

Is it normal to use water/methanol injection in a N2O system? I thought the nitrous oxide is cold when it comes out of the nozzle, isn’t that enough? I’m only familiar with the basics when it comes to Nitrous and just looking for information. I have seen turbo and supercharger setups where N2O is used to cool the charged air (chemical intercooler) but that’s about it.

the washer pump will not give you enough pressure to atomize the w/m. it will basically be shooting a stream into the pipe, not a mist.

here is a pump that will be slightly better for a good price
http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w..._357081_357081

but heres the one ill be using eventually, super hi pressure that basically nukes the water, fabulous price for that psi
