Certainly no one can blame you, since you were specifically asked for this info by 2 other users

What is the PET 5? (I'm not familiar with the abreviation). And are the wiring diagrams better then those of the workshop manuals? (this is one point where the workshop manual is almost unusable)

The quality may not be good either. Jim's are the best you can find along with every technical document ever issued on the 928.
Just my $.05
I bought Jim's from him at least 6 years ago and no doubt are excellent, and have used them countless times in conjunction with the factory hardcopy manuals. Jim's CD's are a must-have for any DIY 928'er (..as well as Porkens lift-bars).

I chose to buy the factory CD/DVD today to supplement what I already have, plus, I hope that it's easier to navigate with a traversable tree with bookmarks, as doing a search is a little clunky with Jim's, my only small complaint with them.

It seems that the manual is being sold by a company called "Royal Vale Publishers", that has several offers for Workshop Manuals on Amazon or elsewhere.

Can anyone who already purchased this product tell us if it's something more then the microfiche scans?

Check out the image within the Amazon add as that does not look like a page from the WSM.
I wonder if they have Porsches blessing to be selling?

Jim's set has been updated in the last couple of years and the search function is pretty easy now.

I plan on buying Jim's CD's and have planned on it for a while now. I have just wanted to see them in action before I buy. I've heard they are excellent. I'll put that on my list next time I'm down there.

Pic in auction definitelly isn't from factory WSM. Either its wrong or this is some unknown aftermarket set. My bet is its Jim's WSM scan they have copied like everyone else.

Looks like the Haynes manual.

If this CD is a scanned copy of that manual, it's not worth a penny IMO.

Some manual sellers just use the same image for all their products.

According to the listing, it is from Porsche.

Also, from the 'Product Features':

Complete genuine Porsche digital service repair manual specifically written for the 928 production model years: 1981- 1994.

High-definition, printable instructions and illustrations.

Print entire manual, or just the parts you need for your repair.

Original factory (not aftermarket) written manual covers all topics in detail with illustrations.

Covers Models: S, S4, GT & GTS Engine: 4.5L; 4.7L; 5.0L; 5.4L V8

If it is from Porsche, I would think it is well done.

Pirated version of Jim's CD set? I have Jim's and they are very good.
