You'd be bored to death... Drive car to dealer or independent shop, fill out paperwork, leave. Then come-back later and pay ungodly amounts for the oil ($20+ per quart). Drive until next oil change is required by manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
Not to throw a wet t-shirt on things, but no jack stand is necessary for an SM, or any hydro-pneumatic Citroen. They can get high and stiff suspended all by themselves.
