What kind of SCer? Something is goofy on the left side of the picture. The blue part is elevated from the rest of the intake, but on the right side, it touches... I'm sure it's just a mistake

Bypass valves may be two Bosch units from a VW, or I may use a metal unit that the VW crowd uses, or the 996TT metal upgrade diverter valve. They all fit, and the setup allows flexibility. I like the 996TT evo ms valve with the 90 degree vac fitting for packaging reasons, so that may end up being installed.
I am still looking at the DBW control software, and it may allow the elimination of the IAC, but the setup is currently plumbed for the 928 Bosch IAC. I am hoping that I can eliminate the IAC and use the DBW control to moderate the idle speed. We shall see...
Bypass/diverter valves and IAC will be hidden in the valley and mounted to the base plate of the assembley..

The revised CAD is like my avatar.
The SC is an Opcon MX 422 compressor. It is the 2.2L lysholm type compressor unit used by Kenne Bell in their 4.6L 32V cobra and is capable of 800HP of airflow.
A 2.6L and possibly a 2.8L HPS liquid cooled compressor can also fit. The design is also modular, and can be plumbed with turbos by removing the SC and installing a cap/diverter in place of the SC.

Having had a chat with some of the Porsche engineers during many car weeks in Monterey, my guess is that Porsche would do a twin turbo a la Panamera in a GT Coupe.
Actually, I believe that such a car is coming as Porsche designed the new Bentley EXP platform. The dimensions of that car is similar to a 928, and can surely fit a twin turbo V8.. If Bentley puts in the TTW8 or TTW12 from the Continental, it will be a very interesting car indeed.. I might even consider buying one...

base plate for the supercharger
Ok,
So I finally got home and snapped some pictures of the part that came today.
It is the base plate in the Supercharger assembly as shown in the colorized CAD picture at the end. This part will be bolted to the heads, and have all the other pieces in the assembly attached in some fashion to this piece. To say that this is a key piece is a bit understated.
Anyway, this is the test part that was CNC'd in ABS plastic to the spec tolerance for the assembly. The other part attached to it, is of course the injector runner with dual injectors that I 3D printed a while back as a test part. The pictures are of various angles, and for scale of the parts to give some perspective.
The injector runner block fits perfectly, and all holes align etc. As such, the CAd is a success as a design in integration and conversion from CAD to solid material. The next step is to get the base plate test mounted on my spare engine and see what if any tweaks are needed to confirm fitment.
Once this is done, and the parts are a confirmed fit, we will be going to the production phase, and have all the basic parts made in either metal, or composite as needed.
I may be going with a slightly different method of assembly, as I may cast the intercooler outlet manifolds, the injector runners, and the base plate pictured as a one piece assembly. It will by far simplify the assembly process, as well as cut down on the number of total pieces in the assembly and reduce the number of fasteners required to put the thing together. I see this as a good thing. Simpler is better...
Hell, I might even finish by this "summer"..

Lower casting sub -assembly referenced in previous post in case it was not clear.
Of course the injectors and rails will not be cast, just the IC outlet manifolds, runners, and base plate..

Pretty nice! Any concerns over thermal expansion between the block/heads and the lower plate and what happened to the injector orientation in the printed piece?
