Blythe,

I'm sure glad I'm broke right now....

Kim and I are going to make a trip there in a week or two to deliver your baby stuff. How long until your wife is due? Good luck with the sale!

1987 Porsche 928 S4

Early 87 with highly desirable "squirter block" only made in early 1987.
Limited Slip Differential.
Have all service records from the last ten years from the same Porsche Specialist service center.
123,xxx miles.
Koni suspension, matched race aftermarket springs.
Automatic.
Folding wing.

Red, with black interior, tan seats. A/C blows very cold air!

Runs amazing, super strong engine, corners harder than my Z06.
You may need to replace ISV valve (from any autozone) as the throttle needs to be held until it warms up.
A new crank position sensor was just installed.

No pictures, you want to see it, come look at it.
Salvage title at one time.

If this car had a nice paint job, it would be amazing. It would be a great daily driver/weekend performance tourer.
Comes with a new front bumper cover not installed yet. Also have a Devek roll bar and Sparco racing seats and harnesses available for the car.

The pictures do look nice, but please keep in mind she IS a fixer upper!
Maybe SeanZoltan can chime in with his honest opinion of the car, as he has riden in it numerous times, but not seen it polished and detailed yet though...

The p.o. was a die hard Porsche enthusiast who lives on Coronado Island and still has three other 928's and numerous 911's. So even though it's a little ugly to look at, it was not by any means mechanically neglected.
She needs another Mike Ballard!

I never said it was but the way you have the add worded suggests it might have. I'm just telling you what I think and what I would change to make it more attractive to the average buyer. In reality, most people don't care if it has a squirter block or a folding wing, all they want to know if the car runs good and what shape it's in. The rest can be discussed when they see the car. Having too much information in an add can be a deterrent.

Hi Imre, that wasn't directed at you bud! lol, I would RATHER a prospective buyer think it was abused so they don't have their hopes up when they come look at it!
Its better that way!

I've learned a lot from the last car I sold here, and want EVERYTHING out on the table beforehand. I can't make it sound like a great car or someone who thinks otherwise will certainly let me know!!!!!!!! lol....

well I guess I saw this coming....
The car runs great, needs an intake refresh and an ISV for sure. Did the exhaust get put back on?
The car was a track car, but not really a full on track car. It either needs alot of help being a nicer car or needs to finish its strip job and continue to be a track car.
The price is an excellent price, the hold up you will have is how low the price is people on CL may actually be a little scared of the car, not sure tho. I think I agree with Imre that I would be extra to the point on matters and see what happens. it really shouldn't last long tho...

In all my looking over the last several months, I have not seen a running S4 for so little. When I was buying my project 928, where was this car ?
