So far, I think Im the only one that has bored a 4.7 block to 5 liter. it was tight, but sure nice to be abel to revive a block that was gauled by piston rings upon start up. (and welded up top for some really deep corrosion in Scots euro 4.7 mystery motor) anyway, its been working fine, but the walls were on the thin side. I forgot the final thickness, but you want to start out with 7 to 8mm wall thickness and end up with no less than 5-6mm If I remember correctly. scot just used 5 liter 85 pistons and bored to their dimensions. Then the SI process and then its as good as stock
