Default CV joint torque value. Who can answer first?

I need the torque value for the socket head cap screws that attach the CV joints to the transmission output flanges. I've been trying to find them in the WSM and I've now got a major headache...

I believe they are supposed to be 34 ft. lbs....

Can anyone verify this please?

Make sure to get them tight, otherwise they will fall off and leave you stranded on the highway, ask me how I know
Thanks so much! Back to it!

Added to the torque specs worksheet! I also put together all the values I could find for the auto tranny over the weekend. No longer fits on two sheets, though perhaps Andrew can work his formatting magic:

When I just had the car I noticed the rear axle boots were torn. Having no knowledge then I decided to have them replaced while having it serviced. Picked the car up and they showed me what they did, everything looked fine.

Great, so I drove the car some weeks. Then one afternoon I decided to drive the car to a business meeting. Got into a traffic jam in heavy rain. I was pretty happy the car was running fine and not leaking. Then, taking off from a stand still, the car moved forward and a real loud clunk-clunk-clunk from the rear...oh noooo...instant fear striking....my precious baby is broken...and the kicker was, I was on the left lane. Got out, looked under the car and saw the left axle laying on the road. So I pushed the car in the heavy rain in my business suit to the side of the road with impatient traffic behind me. Talk about "most embarrassing moments in life"! Road assistance came and they were able to bolt it back into place on the spot. They have pretty much everything you might need in those vans, really great.

By then, I had missed the meeting and decided to drive straight to the shop that replaced the boots. Needless to say they were very surprised but torqued them up "again". After that I checked for movement every day for a some weeks until I was satisfied they were tight. Bottom line, the shop didn't torque them properly the first time. That's when I decided to do all wrenching myself, no matter how big a job.

I guess I better recheck the torque on mine one of these day (replaced boots 2 month ago) I think I torqued to 65lbs...
