Default PNW Leavenworth 10/3 run GMRS 19/28

We're doing the annual run to the gorgeous little Bavarian Village in the mountains of Leavenworth, Wa. Come one, come all. Malcolm is coming down from Canada, and some local friends are joining me as usual. We'll be on GMRS channel 19 and subchannel 28, bring your radios!! It makes a big differnece. And get ready for Alpine grandeur, open roads and amazing German Beer at Oktoberfest!

Hi Heinrich - Do you have a time you were planning on leaving? Predictably I one of my kids' soccer games midday but think this is worth a hall pass. Maybe cast a few flies at salmon too?

Stefan we usually leave pretty early to meet at the bakery at Sultan at 9am, to leave there at 10am. However I am considering making the gathering at a different location this year, perhaps closer to downtown Seattle at a much more scenic breakfast spot like Alki. Thoughts? A number of us are staying over in Leavenworth to travel back on Sunday. Fly fishing sounds really cool, let's do it!

Won't be there this time....again. Wife left me with the kids....apparently a spa-week in Colorado is more important than my shark-trip... ;-(

Have a great time guys!! Hopefully we can meet sometime soon.

Regards,

Stefan, it was a real pleasure meeting you As always, this event was amazing fun!!! Thank you so much to all our cool 928 friends who came out (and other Porsches as well). Stefan, the photos are GREAT, they supplement mine when I get them uploaded. It was really fun meeting Dylan, and your car is beautiful. 5-speeds are pretty dang rare in these parts. We had an awesome time.
Heinrich
ps: Malcolm and other friends who were unable to join us, we missed you NEXT YEAR!

Looks like a great time. Were those guys testing the flow characteristics of Louie's secret ITB horns?
