It's back for the fall leaf burning season.

Using more fuel to go slower isn't much of an incentive to buy it. When the motor breaks do you go to Autozone? I-don't-think-so.

I'd love to be there if someone took it to a Porsche dealership for service.

Love it!
the one on Ebay doesnt appear to be as nice as the one in the videos though? two different cars perhaps? The one in the video has the engine dressed up and is more presentable.

Personally it would be a great novelty to have.
Just a few of the issues i would see.
1) noise
2) fumes from the exhaust on the hood.
3) all the accesories...A/C..power steering..Electrical(alternator/generator)

Many people frown this stuff but until you sit down with a car on one side of the shop and a jet engine on the other, then figure out how to put it all together and make it drive, you dont have an appreciation for the engineering or time spent behind it.
The fact that some guy undertook this and did it, is what i love.....

...as well as the start sequence!!

true dat!

not to stir the debate again...but my main ride is neither TwinScrew or Centrifugal
165 gal/hr at idle (per engine)
1600 gal/hr going down the runway(per engine)
500 gal/hr cruise(per engine)

Should see the numbers on a GE90 or RR Trent 1000

I love that sound...Probably painful up close, though.

Wouldn't this be a wonderful beast to develop into a Bonneville racer? I would love to have it but not sure if it would pass the type test for imported cars in the Netherlands. And we don't have a racetrack like Bonneville. How fast is this car?

yeah... i get my cheeks pinched all the time.

Diference also..they pay me to fly. I dont gas it up!

Trust me, i would love to have my own airplane. Im jealous of those that do and can enjoy the TRUE freedom that is flying. I miss the days of just taking off somewhere just for the heck of it...in shorts and a ball cap! Your a lucky man!

Oh man, I've driven some weird crew cars before but this would be just too much. Most are retired police cruisers. That would bring some pilots in for a splash of gas and a burger.
