Some really great ideas! Great to have deadlines and goals, helps keep the momentum going.
About the intake, are we sure it was aluminum? The standard intake, if not coated, has a rough cast finish that resembles rough cast aluminum. Even if it was, it should be no problem taking a standard S4 intake, stripping it and make it look like the same.
Sounds like Porsche gave Holbert a pre-production S4 and did not waste time making it look pretty.
Can't wait to see this thread fill up with resto pictures!

I'm not sure, but it sure looks like it. it scratches like it and the scratch dust doesnt burn.
. I think its aluminum, but I think we need an expert to determine this.
