FYI - If anyone cares...on HD Theater they are going to feature a Lamborghini Countach and the Porsche 928 on the show "Classic Car Club" @ 8:30 CST.

Funny you should put this up. This show is one thing that turned me on to my 928 search last year. I've always loved modern 911s, but never could find one I felt I could justify for the $/performance perspective. (This means, I'm cheap, and older 911s never did much for me. A new or less than 5 year old, or none.) My wife saw this same episode many months back, and mentioned a 928 to me, and it seemed to make sense. For the life of me, I don't understand why they're so inexpensive compared to the many other market Porsches.

So, I looked, and found a deal on one locally, the rest is recent history. It's a good little showcase of the value of the 928.

The only other thing I've seen in recent years about the 928 is the episode of "Wheeler Dealers" where they get a cheap 78' and fix it up to sell. You can find it on Youtube in about 5 parts. The only thing I didn't like is that they only worked on the headlights, body, painting, wheels and brakes. I wish they would have actually done some things under the hood. Still good to watch considering the lack of 928's on any television show.
