Default parts for S4 auto transmisson service ?

Hi,
what is needed to perform a service on the MB auto tranny on my '91 S4?
I have no time to order parts from the 928 vendors, so I was hoping to pick it up at the MB service counter.
thanks

flush, gasket and filter. I was hoping for a Mercedes part number for the kit. I narrowed it down to a 722.3 or 722.4 type MB tranny. Which one is it?

you just need to a 4 speed filter and pan gasket and about 9 qts of fluid, use Dextron 3 or 4

The auto is a MB 722.3 four speed box.

You can obtain a "Service Kit" that basically containes a filter and pan gasket.

If you have a PET the part numbers are the MB part numbers,

Ensure that the pan gasket is the newer thicker gasket as the old original one used to split longitudionally.

Follow the WSM regarding fitting and torquing up the pan set bolts.

I changed the filter and gasket and it made a huge improvement. The car shifts smooth as silk now.
I only drained the tranny fluid and not the converter, so I will change the fluid again in a few days and drain both.

SWEET! It is amazing what these trans do with a fluid change or just topping of the fluid.
