I thought the 4.5's last year of production was 82 for RoW? (i.e. all 83 non-US motors are the 300hp one)

Hilton you are indeed correct, I was looking over the engine spec charts in the light of my moniter and the M28/10 is for 80 to 82 Euro.
83 Euro only comes in the S version and thats the 300hp engine, thanks for pointing this out, Stan

Thanks Merlin, I'll check on it tonight to make sure. I'm going to sell it whole, just looking to get what I have in it back out (or close).

All the 83 Euro's are S models, but a non running cis car of any stripe usually means the whole CIS system will eventually be replaced before its running well.

My guess is that it might part out for $500 to $1k more than the whole thing might sell for. More work to part it, but also easier to find a buyer for parts than the whole car (depending on price etc. of course).

Probably a good plan to try to sell it whole Bulldog. The problem with parting it is, you sell the in-demand parts and then you're stuck with figuring out what to do with the rest of it.

Well, seeing as that I'm only getting rid of the shark to focus on other projects, I don't want to spend that much time tearing her down to sell of as parts. I'll sell it whole once (need to put some of it back together) and throw in all of the spare parts I've collected to whoever ends up with her. Thanks for the input guys!

Thanks to Yamahasteve for setting me straight, seems that my shark isn't a Euro after all, just a regular US 928S. Here's some pics of the car as she sits in mid-restoration. I have to sell her to make room for other projects, looking to just get some of my money back. I'll let the car, the replacement transmission, and the extra bits and pieces I have acquired go for $1700.

Anyone have any idea how long a tranny swap would take me if I went ahead and did that?

Mine took approx 2 weeks due to my inability to just put it back together. The cleaning and WYAIT items KILL me.....

Good luck with the sale...
