Discovered new cup holder - every 928 has one (or two)!
For the last year I've been driving the 928s without shoes (but with socks) and it has become a habit now for me to drive all my cars without shoes - Soooo much more comfortable vs clamering about the pedals with big old size 15 shoes - and it actually creates more leg room!!
So for my long drives (especially the ones cross country, I can relax, stretch my legs, cross my legs, bend my knees, exercise while I drive and arrive refreshed. But this caused a problem - what to do with my shoes, where to put them?? Here's one possible use. Good news is it doesn't cost anything, every 928 has one (or two) and you'll be more comfortable too! These cup holders come equipped with Odor Eaters!

Actually, I like to get a screw-top beverage, like a 20 oz soda, and rest it down between the driver's seat and the backside of the E-brake housing. It isn't rock-stable, but it seems to work pretty well, especially if you are like me and carry craploads of emergency supplies in your rear footrest (like quarts of oil, gallons of antifreeze, etc). It's frequently out of the direct sunlight and, in my case, since I'm using a sealed container, mess-free. I was pretty confident cross-country that I could have left the top off no matter how harshly I drove, but I didn't see the need to risk it...

Better hope you don't have to slam on the brakes when you are barefooted. Wife did ER trauma work for for awhile. She shared a couple of stories of people driving barefoot who lost toes, broke bones when slamming on the brakes during accidents.

Ah, you must have gotten them from the guy that's hawking the NIKE AIR JORDANs on here from time to time. And I thought that was just a spammer...
You also went for the heel that doubles as a GPS rest, nice upgrade. Very nice. With size 15s I imagine you could carry a couple of 2-liter bottles there if you wanted.

As described to me when the driver slammed on the brakes and then collided head on with another driver their foot slid up over the top of the pedal splitting thier toes with the brake pedal arm. Tore off the three right outer toes. The pedicure in the ER could not correct.
I frequently am driving around wearing only flip flops (official Hawaiian footwear though they call them "slippers" here on Kauai for some reason) and I think about the losing toes thing often. Obviously not enough to change my behavior.

I built a little tray that holds drink to right and left of legs and change in between that all rests on the floor in from of the seat....(like one I had on an old vette)
