WHAT THE F**K!?!?

Who the hell clunks a C43 AMG Mercedes let alone a 3 year old Audi A4?!

I could seriously take a bat to the heads of some of these nit-wit Libs that did this!

I wonder if any dealer has faked a destroy. Ooo... similar to re-sold flood cars I can't wait for 'c4c cars' to slip through onto Fred's Discount Far'n Cars & Produce.

I didn't C4C a 928 but I did a Mercedes. I've had an '89 560SEL that I bought a couple of years ago for $500 (non-running at the time) when I thought I wanted a Mercedes V8 (oops). A really huge valve cover leak made me a rolling smoke bomb as I idled wildly into the VW dealer. Yep, I took everything worth anything out of that car including the MAF, electronics, and most of the interior which was low mile. It probably weighed 500 lbs lighter... so only about 4.5 tons

The reason given is because it will be safer for our school children to have signs that flash at the right times, AND it won't cost anything because the Government is Paying For IT!!!! Arrrggh!

What the heck is wrong with just posting the times on the signs like when I was a kid and raising the fines with no tolerance for school zone speeding period, AND double fines for speeding in school zone areas even when the standard speed limit is in effect.

I also think there should be some responsibility for teaching the kids to watch out for cars. I know they did that stuff when I was in school! We even had a whole bicycle safety test that included riding through several courses we had to pass to be able to ride our bicycles to school. I got 2nd place in the state for safe bicycle riding when I was in 4th grade. I was upset that I didn't win first because the prize was a new Schwin Apple Crate There wasn't any such thing as a bicycle helmet either.

Local couple traded in a car that the dealer thought was worth more than the $4,500 so the dealer put it on the lot for sale !!! The people saw it listed for $5,995 and went ballistic got the news people involved etc etc.....end result it was the DEALERS option and risk to use the clunker program ...several dealers had difficulty with the "proper" documentation and looks like they will not all get that "free" government money. Like I said too stupid for words....

I like the program...I rarely see any more beaters w/ "Obama in 08" bumper stickers on the road anymore!
