Dwayne---will the madness ever stop. But I do like the car even if it's not an OB.
My son and I met you at OCIC. (We were rolling fenders) Glad to see you have another 928 to play with. Did you start your paintless dent repair training yet?
Please keep those great tutorials coming.

THANKS for all the GREAT comments!
Hi Brain,
That's a tough question because I LOVE them all! But if I could only have one, I suppose it would be Virginia. The things I like about it in priority order are:
1. No Sunroof S4 and extended hub steering wheel (much more comfortable for me to drive)
2. Color (something you don't see everyday on a car)
3. Early '87 AT: Unlike Idaho ('88) and Oregon (later '87), Virginia doesn't start off in 2nd gear - it starts off in 1st gear, and I kinda like the folding wing.
4. Pristine interior and clean engine (after a ton of work and powder coating!)
5. No rear A/C
6. It's my wife's car, so naturally I want it!![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Hello Aryan,
I've been asking myself that same question! I actually do get about 7 hours of sleep - but I dream of what I'm going to fix next on the 928s - that way, I hit the ground running when I get out of bed
Seriously, for the last couple of years, this has been my only hobby and consumes about 80% of my free time. I do have a long list of things to do in order to keep 'em all running and sorted.
Hi Dan,
I have measured the distance from seat to roof on California ('84) but have not measured the distance on Virgina or Oregon. I should compare Oregon to Idaho for a better measure of increased headroom and will post the result. I'm guessing, by the feel, you get at least 1.5" maybe 2.0" of extra headroom without the SR. Oregon and Virginia are both non-Euro cars. THANKS for the question.

I remember you at OCIC - I really enjoyed meeting you and your son. I think it's great you both enjoy 928s. I haven't started playing with the paintless dent repair yet - had to deal with Virginia's drilled block and brake job (replaced rotors, pads, fluid, cleaning, etc.). I have to do TT bearings on Virginia next (after block repair). But I'm sure I'll get to the paintless dent repair, eventually. Thanks for the comment!

You're not crazy at all - you're perfectly normal - I think everyone should have at least 5 cars!

BTW, looks like you live in Redlands - my in-laws live in Redlands and we visit them about every other month - in fact we're going to have lunch with them tomorrow (after we get an alignment for Virginia in Victorville).

Dwayne, thats gotta be a nice drive for ya. Redlands is pretty cool, with the fires in Yucaipa, its been hectic with the air, but all things considering. Not too bad. Hope you have a safe road trip and if your hangin around the area I'd sure like to see your ride.
