I Need More Power...
Guys,
I have an 84' US 928S AT 4.7L 16V... I am looking to get more kick out of it and interested in what add-ons / upgrades can be done? Also, I have been reading about exust system upgrades that can give it a muscular sound? I am not a mechanic so also looking for someone within a few hours of Buffalo, NY who can do the upgrades and also perform fine tuning to the AT and engine.
The car has 50K miles and is in great shape. Any suggestions, thoughts are appreciated,
robert

Xpipe is the biggest bang for the buck. From there you can do headers and catback too. These cars benefit from exhaust mods well.
Then you can look into boosting options!

i had the same car and engine. headers and exhaust worth 20hp, cam and euro intake worth 40hp. then, big move to euro heads and 5 liter bottom end for the next 35hp.

Best to decide how much more power you want, and go directly to it with the fewest steps. No point in pouring a few grand into a 4.5 if you really want blown or stroker power. Whats it not doing that you want it to do?

Actually I have a better idea.
Buy an automatic 924 and drive that for a week, then get back into the 928.
Everytime the 928 feels slow get into the 924.
