If his car can't make it the rest of the way he's welcome to my 85 for the weekend...I'd be honored. Just about 4 short hours North of DFW. Not sure it would be worth it but the offer stands just the same.

Well, Bill now has all gears, looks like his cable will need replacement along with the cable mounting tabs (Roger).

He has my (86.5) driver side exhaust pipe mounted for the trip tomorrow and will need an S4 replacement when we get there (Roger).

Looks like will get an early start and re-route the drive over and take I-10 to I-20 all the way in.

Hopefully we'll get there in time for the BBQ dinner, if not we can be found at the Bar

OMG - that soo reminds me of my unfavorable encounter with a Sierra Nevada rock last summer.

I hope the shark's belly isn't slit, and the rest of the trip is less eventful.

Well who needs heat shields and who needs the rear exhaust? Cut that off and film a new burnout video!
