Default Another Tire Thread

I'm going to replace the set of Toyo Proxes on my 1990 928. The previous owner installed them in 2003 and besides, the rears are a bit thin. They also raise Cain at highway speeds. Very noisy tires. I would hope the noise is due to their age as they don't have that many miles on them.

The car is a daily driver. I would like a quiet ride with decent handling but the quieter the better. I'm sticking standard sizes front/rear on the stock rim.

Any help is appreciated.

Default I'm on my 3rd set of Falken

The have given me a noise free ride throughout the life of the tire and are priced around $120/ea. I get about 15-16K out of the front and 8-10k miles out of the rear.
