it does have a radiator side tank oil cooler...but that appears fine.....
I pulled the spark plugs and used a borescope to look in the cylinders....#2 is gone.....it had the 4 prong spark plugs...two were VERY clean (steam will do that) and the other too had oil on them (hint)....it was hard to see anything from all the steam coming out the spark plug hole too....
I was very surprised at how well it idled with a blown headgasket....& it didn't smoke either? odd
the good news is I came to an agreement with the sellers that is acceptable to both of us...

They're probably expensive and all, but on most cars a new headgasket doesn't mean a new engine - is it different on a 928? I just saw a lot of people offering up engines all of a sudden for what should be a $400 repair on a perfectly usable engine. Especially if it still idles nice.
