I never meant to imply that there was anything WRONG with the kits themselves. Or that a car that had one was worth less or anything. I just do not like the setup. To my knowledge its NOT a twin screw but an Eaton unit with is about 20 years old. Its also not something i think is very appealing when you open the hood. I really dont like the way the thing looks but this is just my personal opinion.

Oh and to Heinrich, I meant to say that yeah i dont like to overpay, but i also dont overcharge for my wares either. So yeah if i had one, i would have given someone a good deal on it, yes i maybe cheap as you see it, but i do like to think i pass it back onto others here.

Yes, Andy was a pioneer but didn't FAST sell a CS supercharger kit way before Anydy, Murf or anyone else?

FAST never really sold anything. They attempted to make an SC kit that never took off and to my knowledge they installed the kits, there was never a "kit" that a customer could instal ... I could be wrong but that's my recollection. Tim Murphy bought an attempted FAST kit from Louie Ott way back, made it work and the rest is history. However, again, the very first KIT that a consumer could buy, instal and drive away with, was Andy's kit.

The FAST setup was also a lot more expensive than Andy's kit.

You could use either Eaton or Twin Screw with it. Your choice. In fact, the intake opening is the entire cross section of the intercooler and requires a reducer for fitting whichever supercharger. This is the most versatile setup out there. In fact, so versatile, you can use it with a centrigugal unit, and in that case, it will fit easily under the hood without modifications.

Sorry no pics yet, but will get to them soon.

Mine is brand new never installed. Not a complete kit. just the manifold and intercooler parts + plates/fasteners to install it. No blower or pipes or fuel control pieces. I'll get pics soon

Tarek is right. Mine uses a 2.2L Autorotor Twin Screw...which I think was sourced from Kenne Bell and is also used on the Cobras. DR uses a slightly smaller unit (2L? 1.6L?) for his, to accommodate the throttle body setup in the rear.

Mark Robinson was F.A.S.T. (forced air systems of Texas). You could buy his kits complete way back when. The Murf kit is the same thing with a different bracket and other bits. I talked to him waaaaaay back about a kit, but never pulled the trigger because I thought his communication and business manner was poor. Those kits were proven though, research it for yourself.

I got one for sale, its a M112 supercharger/intercooler in excellent shape. It comes installed on a 1989 S4 5 speed with lots of upgrades for $16,000. Considering partial trades.
