Is there anybody out there who is ready to remove theirs or just wants to sell theirs?
Please PM me if you may know someone or have a SC kit for sale.
Thanks.

I have one that has an intercooler that is twice the size of all of them out there. Andy custom built for me. I paid for it more than most of my cars. I never installed it. I'll dig up pics or take new ones. Let me know if still interested.

Im curious, what do you think a used setup is worth? When i was thinking of buying a car with one I was hoping to get $1500 for the setup but im curious since your looking for one what you think they would be worth?

Ryan, I think you're way underestimating what these are worth, especially with the enhancements that have been developed by owners who figured out the weaknesses in Andy Keel's design.

I'd like to see pics...does the larger IC fit in the "V"?

I've never done a true fit check because I never got to install it, but Andy and I decided to maximize the height for fitting under the hood of my widebody, which is at least 2 inches higher than a stock hood. You will definitely need a bump formed into your hood to fit this one. Best way is to verify is by comparing dimensions of this one with those from others who have the standard kit installed and figure it out by comparison.

What are you talking about? I said i was wondering what they were worth cause i would be selling it as soon as i bought the car and figured the - $1500 into the price of the car, but now it sounds like they are maybe worth $3000 so having known that, i probably would have pulled the trigger on a car long long ago had i known this.
Yeah i am not a fan of the Keel kit, upgrades or not

I'm obviously biased, and I'll acknowledge that there is a certain bubblegum-and-baling-wire aspect about each kit, but I think Andy did a good job given the circumstances.
While each of us has had some sorting to do, I'm not aware of any major screwups whereby the cars were damanged as a result of poor tuning or poor design...and this was mostly done before any kind of sharktuning....just different injectors and a boost adjustable RRFPR. So the kits work, they delivered pretty good bang for the buck, and there was enough margin of error to permit some variability from kit to kit without consequence.
At this point, if I could wave a wand, I'd probably have chosen a murf kit. At the time there were arguments that favored the twin screw and I don't regret the choice. But I think the murf kits are very well sorted, and at this point I can definitely appreciate and value the TIME associated with the continued R&D.
Still, I wouldn't shy away from a Keel kit, especially for someone comfortable doing their own work.

Andy Kel was a PIONEER. Prior to his work, Marc Thomas had been saying for decades that there was no way to supercharge a 928 without altering the compression. This may have had something to do with Marc's lucrative stroking business.
Andy proved him wrong and brought us the FIRST consumer-installed SC kit. It was not perfect but at $5k, it was exactly what the dr ordered.
