As I said that happened back in 89 or 90. 11-12 years before I bought SITM to NC from Atlanta. At that time I was still living In Atlanta and had GA plates. A friend and I drove up to go night skiing and as I was leaving I was taking my jacket off in the tight confines of the ZX. As I did this I just slightly crossed the yellow line by a foot or so and a cop saw it and thought I was driving drunk. So the combo of a bright red new sports car, GA plates and crossing the yellow line, AND an "exotic" handgun brought our 4 Police cars (all they had in the area), and the drug sniffing dogs. I got to sit handcuffed in the back seat while the dogs went all thru my new 300ZX.

I will have to say those dogs were poorly trained

Now that I am a "local" again (born and raised 30 minutes from Linville) they don't hassle me at all in my 928. When they pull me over for speeding on occasion they usually just want to make sure I am not drinking, if not I am asked to slow down a little. :-)

Staying on subject, from now on I will tell them I can't drink in my 928 because I don't have no stink'n CUPHOLDERS!!
