im flush with the front bumper length now. . Ive been adding to it 1" at a time, starting at near 3". (similar to the S splitter, shown on this thread)

I keep on riviting more 1/16" aluminum sheet to make it longer. The guys at the track with good splitters, say that 1" is a big difference and should provide some change.

Yes, I have a rear wing, but the front still pushes pretty bad when overdriving the car a bit. I took a little wing out at the last race, and it seemed to help. now about 7 degrees. Might change that to 5 at the next race.

yes, I swaw the gurney flap thread. whats nice about a gurney flap, is that you get the gain in downforce of the new angle of attack based on the hight of the flap to the front of the wing cord. less drag than tilting the wing to get that same angle and downforce.

Here is the pic of the 7" splitter. Looks really rough, but it works.

So, have we hit the production stage yet? Maybe talk to Carl about throwin you a couple a bucks for the design. Since it uses his protector plates, he seems like the most logical vendor to me.

How about somehow making a digital file of the dimensions (CAD?) to sell to members with the capability of making their own?

Just thinking out loud.

Friend of mine does water-jetting, reason why I'm asking

Great work, Ken! Looks like a factory OEM part, which is the highest compliment I can think of.

That'd work, and give me a chance to meet Erik.

I'd take one. Looks great! Maybe a carbon fiber version too?
