Success ! Front Splitter and Diffuser
I have always wondered how a splitter would work W/ a front S-spoiler. I also like the idea of providing cool air to the oil pan.

Having just read about Bill ***** experience impacting a pipe, I thought I would share my recent "test" of my splitter impact resistance.
I happened to be heading home following a minivan a few car lenghts back when I saw the van make a little sway manuever. Suddenly into view was a dead racoon in the middle of the road. I'm guessing he was nearly 20 pounds. The opposite lane had traffic and I had already tried to brake, releasing at the last minute to regain my not quite 4 inches of spoiler height. It was a tremendous impact. I can't describe the carnage that came out the back of the car when I glanced in the mirror, but it was pretty bad. Being only a couple of miles from home, I checked the gauges and decided not to look at how bad things must be until I could shut down in the garage.
To my complete amazement, other than a few hairs, there was NO damage at all. It didn't even scuff the paint on the top of the spoiler.
I had expected to test this on track with an "off". I'm sure that the splitter saved the alternator and possibly the starter from gathering gooo.
Just thought I would share,

A revitalized faith in home brewed body mods... nice.
Did you consider using counter sunk screws? An 8mm would work nicely, and you have plenty of thickness in the splitter to do it.
Good job using stainless. Nice attention to detail throughout.

Hi Blythe,
I didn't think about using a counter sunk screw since it's only 1/8 inch....I figured the rounded allen head shoulders wouldn't catch on much.
And just to be clear...it's 5051 aluminum sheet and not stainless.
