Cali sucks for the laws they impose but look on the bright side, according to your Governor you can now pay your debts with IOU's !!
So scratch on a piece of paper "Mongo owes you $xxx" and send it in, but if they send back a photo of handcuffs you might have to rethink my strategy...

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day, yet I'm probably the only crazy enough on here to do that!
After hearing all the comments on my car, I guess I can relate it to Lindsay Lohan; you want her because she's so dang hot, but yet she can get you into so much damned trouble!

Ok so if you want to be an *** about it take it to a shop that you don't like get the car safetied. Then go to court with the ticket and the safety if they find you quilty then make the sherif pull the licenece of the place that safetied it. Nothing like making the gov fight the gov, it works even better if you can get it into a gov opperated inspection place and they pass it. Someone will have some explaining to do and it wont be you he he

You know you could fight this legally and probably win. You could go to your doctor specialist and have them write you a note saying you must have your windows tinted dark to block out of the sun due to your eye condition. ROFL

UPDATE
I spoke to Mr. Ticket in San Diego, who said that on occasion CHP's will check the 'no' box just to hassle motorists, or for their own insurance. It's an infraction, and not a moving violation so nothing will be reported to the company. It is also correctable and the law has not changed for a 26708(a) VC. However, a courtesy notice that says the ticket IS CORRECTABLE will VOID out the 'no' box on the citation itself.
EFFING AWESOME

I have no choice. But taking tint off is cheaper than paying $125-$146. At least that's what I heard the fees are if you don't.

Nevada? thats suprising to me, I would think you need the darkest tint on earth to help keep the sun at bay. I wonder if they would let you off if you told them you did it because the A/C sucks and it needs all the help it can get.

Mongo,
Its easy to prove that you have the medical condition photophobia, most people with blue eyes have it, which makes you sensitive to bright light, so tinting the windows becomes a law provisioned medical condition allowing you to keep your tint.
Just go to an eye doctor, and complain about sensitivity to bright lights.
Most people who are inclined to tint have some level of the problem anyhow.
Removing tint destroys the interior with heat and UV rays, so its worth it to keep the tint. And next time you see a cop, just roll the windows down, that is the easist way to avoid problems, you DOLT!!!

One of the worst side effects is permanent blood shot eyes....
I'm not sure you needed an excuse to party the night before seeing the doctor - but now you have the perfect excuse.
