Default exhaust note question (change?)

I recently bought my 1980 5-speed from a great guy here on rennlist. He had purchased the car from a guy in NC. Since I've had it (about 2 months), I've changed the timing belt, water pump, etc., bought tires and accessories (momo steering wheel, short shift kit, various little things), and done a couple of other things.

Anyways, I love the car more than anything, but I'm not sure how I feel about the exhaust note. It's pretty loud. In fact, I've got a couple of YouTube video links the guy in NC made before he sold it to the guy I bought it from:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwUxwscbb_8

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7yUVgrfu7I

If you check them out, you'll see it's pretty loud. I have to admit I really like it... but sometimes I think I should have a less 'souped up mustang' sound on my 928.

Can anyone suggest a more 'Porsche' sounding exhaust? I'm a fool when it comes to this kind of thing. I just don't know what's out there.... although I've searched this forum and found all kinds of info, I still have no idea what I should have on this car.

Thanks!

Well, my decision is based on the fact that it's the cheapest thing to do at this point too.... but I'm sure i'll change it at some point. I'm never satisfied

"Porsche sounding exhaust"? Remember this is a 90 degree V8. You would have to spend a lot of money to get it to sound like a flat 6.
