Default Radiator's here!

Got home tonight to find a big box on the front porch. The radiator is here! Pics and installation posted tomorrow so I can finish the "old" and bring in the new with the holiday.

Love that radiator. I was thinking about sticking a screwdriver in mine so I would have an excuse to buy one . . .

Just go for a drive with your wife on a hot day and wait for the plastic tank to pop. And I can't wait to hear it either, but it will be tomorrow now. Exhaust is done and while the rear was in the air I needed to replace the sealing washers around the fuel pump and filter to fix a small seep. Well at first I didn't know why the filter was such a b*tch and then I discovered thread locker on the fittings! Unreal. Tons of high-$ maintenance records on my car, but I keep finding little things that are just wrong. So now I need a new filter. But I got lucky, called Advance Auto Parts (my brother works for them) and they will have a new one for me at 9am tomorrow morning. Sorry Roger, but speed was important here.

Maybe it's a good thing. I've been having a part-throttle hesitation for a while and replacing the fuel filter is definitely on the list of things to check. Also ordered a new coil at the same time, since the one on my car has definitely been around a long time.

This "out with the old" is turning into a lot of fricken' "old."

Default Aluminum Art

This radiator is just beautiful, tested on 6/30 and ready to go. I almost don't want to install it.

That radiator is a work of automotive art. Almost hate to install it for fear of leaving a fingerprint (or worse!) on it. Nice!

I have a Y pipe to Borla on mine. Sounds just right. Not too loud, not too tame. Now if I could just get the motor back in.....
