Then I bet it's not burning a quart of oil every 500 miles. I still can't believe a car company full of PhD engineers would allow such a thing to be written in the owner's manual and describe it as "normal".
If I was going to supercharge a GTS, I would make damn sure I first brought the oil burning under control.

That is done to reduce the oil consumption but does nothing to lower the compression. While the pistons are out have the tops machined a bit Tony Harkin and others have done that.

Congrats on the purchase. Hope it works out well for you. Boost is fun. Make sure you get that thing shark tuned as the S4 and GTS cars may respond to boost differently.
