you guys haven't seen what hard water stains look like on black cars....I'm far from a concours guy, but my GT still bears the scars of hard water from a sprinkler system that soaked my car at one of the Sharktoberfest.. Did I complain..nope..but I make sure I don't park anywhere near those garden areas..

Sue God for rain.

Go check out the 911 forum, they are debating if one should use a 2 cycle or 4 cycle leaf blower to dry a car. 3 pages and counting.

The air cooled ones do have a rather large fan.

Hard water and be rough. My wife's volvo still needs more polish work after months of spray from my own sprinklers (!), so I understand the concern!

BUT sometimes you've got to realize it's still just a car. While I take pretty **** care of mine, I loved crashing the concours party with auto-X rubber and canyon dust still all over my car.

JEEZUS KEERISTE. Get a F'n Life. I drove my 91 $$$$4 two years thru MICHIGAN winters (although I have paid dearly for it since). As much as I love my 928 its just a CAR! Get over it! What if a bird ****s on it (like Sterling's Car at SITM) clean it up and get on with life. What ********! They're probably polliticaly correct Kalifornians who think the rest of the world should pay for all the little things that aren't fair in life.

Outrageous! I'm mortified and stupefied!

What kind of a low rent establishment is that.

What's next, the sun will come up and ruin the finish on my car?

If they were going to be upset THEY should have had car covers on their cars otherwise they should leave them in their garage ALL the time ! Besides IF you wash their car for them or get it "detailed" it just opens up MORE potential "damage" like scratches , swirl marks , burn through the paint . Nicely tell them to pound sand .......

I have, and deal with it on a regular basis. That's life and I always have the proper equipment to take care of the spots if needed.

whats really funny is this DOESN'T surprise me one bit...especially PCA concour guys.......some of those guys are **** to the max.......

The million $$ question is how important the PCA and those individual customers are to the given hotel....that will determine what the hotel does.....but its safe to say "sorry" should be enough....

You've got to admire anyone who is passionate about what they spend their time doing (well, nearly anyone), but this is some seriously funny stuff!!

It makes this group look almost, well, normal! (I said almost !!)

Those 911 guys are nuts. I use only an electric leaf blower, with the cotton crotch panel of a (new) set of hoisery stretched over both the air inlet and the nozzle. Oh, and an ozone filter on the motor so I don't damage my weatherstripping.
