Very cool! My favorite track too...

Can we buy a back issue of this from the SCCA?

Oh SNAP! MK, you're not going to sit around and let others beat you down like what happened with "the Onion" incident, are you?

Nice to see you get some well-deserved press.

Thanks! I hadnt seen it yet, although I had a few emails of folks that did.

Yep, that was fun while it lasted. 650hp is just too hard for the ole' girl to fight off, but I was able to keep in front for a few laps after a good jump at the start.

Always good to have the 928 on the cover of anything. Even the "Onion".

Now, Ill have to see if those new Hoosiers are really good for 2 seconds over the Toyos . If so, maybe Ill be able to hold the Viper off the entire racel

Good goin Mark! Always great to see the Holbert car on the cover of a magazine.

Technically speaking, it really is. I believe they added the S4 bumper caps and engine to a '86 chassis on this car.

Yeah, I posted that in jest but then recalled a thread to that effect at some point.

Mark- Yearwise, what's the VIN indicate on the Holbert car? Since it's registered here in the Republik there must be a conventional VIN, yes?

Corrected.

The same could be said of all S4-> 928s.

'86.5 - there is no substitute.
