When he went off the road he was ok, IF he would have stopped and then slowly tried to get back on the road over the 4-6 inch drop from the pavement, but it looked like he just tried to ride back on the pavement and it did a tank slapper which threw them both over the top.

WOW, what a story all around.
Greg, it was great meeting you. I didn't make the connection that you were "blown 87" until late in the day saturday! I'd followed your rebuild thread closely. Anyway, good hangin' out with you and your bro. Thanks for poppon' the tops of my beers.
FWIW, I had a turkey fly along with me in front of my car for about 100ft. It was quite surreal.

Great meeting you also, and I am always willing to help a drinking man in need.

If I was to ever leave my beloved Georgia, Texas is one of the very places in the US I would consider moving.
Just a auto to manual on the next few pages, then the suspension.
Those will keep me from driving the car for a while.
After the windshield the wheels have to come next, I sent my spies out to talk to people, some really liked my car, but thought it had the dirtiest, most outdated, ugliest wheels on the planet.

Thank god Mitchel was not hurt, I kept singing "I am dreaming of a white Christmas" every time little glass snowflakes fell all over Mitchell on the ride back.
