JmHowell - Yes, one of the main reasons I bought the car was because of the unique turquoise metallic color. It is really a great color.

Tom - Headliner is the standard replacement from Porsche. However, it will be covered in diamond patterned dark green alcantara.

Dan.... that's one Hell of a project. Good for you.

I'm staying tuned.

Note to self: Now Paul's probably not going to have time to do my back seats this winter to complete my diamond quilted interior. On second thought: Dan! You bastage....

Holy Crap Dan! That is an extensive restoration and modification work.

Seriously, when you're done you will have the perfect 928.

Couple of questions.
1. I assume you're updgrading the suspension, have you decided what you're doing yet?
2. Are you going to upgrade the stereo and does Paul's work include the needed modifications to improve the sound quality?

Can't wait to see more pics!

Whattup Cowboy,

Car is going to friggin awesome!!

Here's a couple more questions for you.

Brakes: Whats your plan here? You doing the "Roger/Jim" setup w TT rears
Turquoise calipers would be pretty cool!!

Wheels/Tires- Going for something cool to compliment the rest of the car??
Fikse or Kinesis maybe??

Suspension- Seems there's quite a few choices out there??

Let us know man, inquiring minds want to know!!

Hi Afshin - The existing suspension has new-ish Bilsteins (PO Kiesan, upgraded the suspension during the two years he had the car, so good to go there.

Yes stereo upgrade is in the works. Includes moving some things on the center console a bit to make room for an in-dash touch screen. I really like this one that Keith Widom did. Really updates the car.

Hey Chuck! Cowboy is saddle sore these days.

Brakes - Upgrading to the Big GTS setup for brakes.

Wheels - Going to widen the Cup II's I have to 8.5x17 Front 10.5x17 Rear

Suspension - existing newish Bilstein setup works well.

Dan, are you putting the engine I sold you in the car until Greg finishes the stroker? What is the e.t.c. for the stroker?

Hi Blythe - Used the donor engine for the heads and cams which are off to the magic castle for their work. The orginal engine was still in the car while it was being worked on at the paint shop. We used the top end to accelerate the build process. Now that the interior and drivetrain has been removed the original block is out being honed and prepped for the stroker goodies.

Estimate end of November completion timeframe.

Dan-

Tasty goodness everywhere one looks on that beast. Looking forward to having a burnout-off down Orangethorpe at some point I'm headed to Greg's for a few days mid October to get my act together on the engine, then will put the car back together in December. You in town at any point? Yell if you need a 'running 928' fix, I have one that runs right now....

Thanks Rob! I've fanagled a business trip that coincides with Sharktober Fest. Flying in from Connecticut Friday afternoon (LAX)

Might be down at Greg's next week as I am on the mainland, though Norcal, for a few days. Would love to go for a ride and look at your cars.
