Chris and all the others who have made this possible, THANK YOU! This is awesome, I love watches but I have nothing like this. Next favorite watch I own is now my MOMO. Can't wait to get mine on my wrist!
Cheers,
Glenn

You are are right though, that picture is just wrong on many levels.
Chris - please don't be offended. Nothing but praise here for the very difficult task of getting this peoject done.

Please, no self-portraits from an era whose passing was a welcomed relief!
[watch subject: that watch is probably one of those 'fashion' gold-tone digitals with the red led display]

My daily wear is a 44mm Breitling (48mm with crown).

Barry, I have one like that with the carbon fiber face...you are correct, it is a bit small. The Laco is 42mm and I would guess 44 or 45 w/ the crown (the last of the Awesome screw down crowns too I might add) and it looks just about perfect on my manly wrist! Just so there is no confusion between me and mullett head! Loved the comment that it was a gold tone digital w/ red display...SO TRUE!

James... I must confess that in that era, I had a short pony tail and when not worn as a tail... probably looked "mulletish". If I had only known...
Here is my modest watch collection... as you can tell, I am a big fan of chronographs! While there are some major players here, most are garden-variety knock around watches. In this pic I have 2 manuals, 4 automatics & the remainder are quartz. I also have 2 winders. I have others somewhere from early adulthood... no idea where they are, but very outdated.
My last job enabled me [yes, watch collecting is a disease ] to pick up some nice pieces. The name brand wasn't the appealing factor so much as the design and visual appeal... hence some of the low-end pieces.
Having just started a new job, I will probably miss out on the IP opportunity for this excellent piece. And dammit, the number I would want is still available!

I really like the white second hand better
No, I'm not gonna change it to that hand, but I like it better.
When I look at the watch now, it takes a few seconds for my brain to register "Where the second is."
Kind of weird.
