Chris and all the others who have made this possible, THANK YOU! This is awesome, I love watches but I have nothing like this. Next favorite watch I own is now my MOMO. Can't wait to get mine on my wrist!

Cheers,
Glenn

Dan...dude...that was just wrong. Major loss of man points. You're now last on the list.

Just trying to motivate others to buy one of these great watches. That dude showed up on the Awkward Family Photos website. I laughed for a ten minutes then thought since the theme of that pic included his wrist watch, I thought it might define who should and should not wear on the great 928 watches.... just in case there were any Rennlisters wondering if they are the right type.

You are are right though, that picture is just wrong on many levels.

Chris - please don't be offended. Nothing but praise here for the very difficult task of getting this peoject done.

No kidding...

Please, no self-portraits from an era whose passing was a welcomed relief!

[watch subject: that watch is probably one of those 'fashion' gold-tone digitals with the red led display]

Glenn, this is my MOMO watch... what does yours look like? It also has the 'tachometer theme' around the outer edge of the face. I don't wear mine very often as it has only a 38mm diameter case (42mm with crown) and looks too small on my wrist.

My daily wear is a 44mm Breitling (48mm with crown).

Barry, I have one like that with the carbon fiber face...you are correct, it is a bit small. The Laco is 42mm and I would guess 44 or 45 w/ the crown (the last of the Awesome screw down crowns too I might add) and it looks just about perfect on my manly wrist! Just so there is no confusion between me and mullett head! Loved the comment that it was a gold tone digital w/ red display...SO TRUE!

This watch is 42mm but wears much bigger, since the dial is so large.
It really wears like a 44mm watch easily

Here's a good glowing pic

James... I must confess that in that era, I had a short pony tail and when not worn as a tail... probably looked "mulletish". If I had only known...

Here is my modest watch collection... as you can tell, I am a big fan of chronographs! While there are some major players here, most are garden-variety knock around watches. In this pic I have 2 manuals, 4 automatics & the remainder are quartz. I also have 2 winders. I have others somewhere from early adulthood... no idea where they are, but very outdated.

My last job enabled me [yes, watch collecting is a disease ] to pick up some nice pieces. The name brand wasn't the appealing factor so much as the design and visual appeal... hence some of the low-end pieces.

Having just started a new job, I will probably miss out on the IP opportunity for this excellent piece. And dammit, the number I would want is still available!

I really like the white second hand better

No, I'm not gonna change it to that hand, but I like it better.
When I look at the watch now, it takes a few seconds for my brain to register "Where the second is."
Kind of weird.
